ASHI CPR and AED for the Community and the Workplace Course

Short Description:  To develop in the students the basic knowledge, skill and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of CPR, AED and Oxygen in an emergency situation for an adult, child and infant. 

More Details:  This course is at least 4-hours long.  ASHI CPR and AED for the Community and Workplace will cover; sudden cardiac arrest and early defibrillation, cardiovascular disease, basic CPR skills, emergency action steps, and choking.  Students will receive the ASHI CPR and AED booklet, student examination, and course ASHI CPR Card.                                                       k

ASHI Wilderness First Aid Course

Short Description:  Wilderness First Aid is a practical course that prepares you to recognize and avoid wilderness hazards and do first aid outdoors with whatever equipment you have or can improvise.

More Details: This course is 8-hours long.  Environmental hazards, wilderness wound care and burns, biological hazards, bone and joint injuries and assessing and treating other problems.  Students will receive the ASHI Wilderness Emergency First Aid Guide, student examination, and ASHI course completion card.                                              H

ASHI Wilderness First Responder Course

Short Description:  Wilderness First Responder is a practical course that prepares you to recognize and avoid wilderness hazards and do first aid outdoors with whatever equipment you have or can improvise.  First Responder will prepare your kit with the best medical tools for multiply situations.

More Details:This course is 16-hours long.  Environmental hazards, wilderness wound care and burns, biological hazards, bone and joint injuries and assessing and treating other problems.  Students will receive the ASHI Wilderness Emergency First Aid Guide, student examination, and ASHI Wilderness First Responder card.
